Alto Aria is the moniker of singer and composer Aria Leth Schütze. With voice and emotional presence at its center, the project explores the space between acoustic and electronic sound, with transformation as a central thread. Classical elements are woven together with contemporary electronic textures, carried by an intimate and expressive voice.
On their newly released album Ephemeral, these sonic tensions unfold within an atmospheric and immersive sonic landscape. The album moves through themes of transience, falling in love, and body memory, allowing organic timbres and electronic processing to merge in a sound world that shifts between vulnerability and volume.
Aria is also co-founder of the record label Rhizome, which focuses on experimental electronic music and alternative release formats. Through both their artistic work and their involvement in Rhizome, they contribute to creating space for experimental music and new ways of connecting different sonic landscapes.
